About this Scholarship

The Henry J. Melusky Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2005. Mr. Melusky taught math at Olympia High School for 37 years. To honor his dedication to education, his loving family and devoted friends are offering this scholarship to assist graduating high school seniors from Olympia High School (OHS) continuing their studies in teaching, meteorology, music, or environmental studies.

Key Criteria

Graduating senior from OHS that attends a college or university in WA State; preference given to a student planning to pursue a teaching degree in mathematics. Students planning to pursue a teaching degree or a degree in the fields of meteorology, music, or environmental studies are also welcome to apply.

Please note that the following items are required as part of the application process:

  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
  • Grade Transcript
