Our History
The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound was founded in 1989 as an all-volunteer run organization. Today we are an independent public charity that awards scholarships to local students and grants to Lewis, Mason, and Thurston county nonprofits with the help of many caring individuals that call the South Puget Sound home.
Our Role
Community foundations bring together people who care about their communities to support critical needs, respond to disasters, create opportunities, and build a stronger future. Together, we make more possible for those that call the South Puget Sound home.
