Congratulations to the 2016 Spirit of Youth Scholarship Recipients

The Spirit of Youth award celebrates a young adult who, by overcoming personal obstacles and serving his or her community, exemplifies the importance of the rehabilitative focus of the juvenile justice system. This award puts the spotlight on the power of personal achievement!

We offer our congratulations to the three recipients: Amber Wederski, Bryan Cortez and Allen Hacking. These three were honored during a ceremony at the Capitol on Thursday, September 29, 2016, by Governor Inslee's General Counsel, Nick Brown and Cory Redman, the Acting Director of the Office of Juvenile Justice.

Thank you to Community Foundation Board Member, Mary Williams, for making this award possible.
