Celebrating Local Giving!

November 21, 2016

The South Sound Partners for Philanthropy annual luncheon recognized those caring individuals and organizations that generously support philanthropy in the South Sound! The inspirational lunch, held on November 15th, joined together friends and colleagues who value local giving and the nonprofits who keep our community a great place to live for everyone.

We had the honor of hearing from Miriam Barnett, who has served in the nonprofit world since 1987, and is the current CEO of the YWCA Pierce County. Miriam is "passionate about making the world a better place for all people...[striving] to achieve [her] personal mission of making a difference one step at a time."
