(October 2012 Archive)

The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound will award $25,000 for a project(s) that supports a dynamic, strong agricultural environment within our service region (Thurston, Lewis and Mason counties).

Our goal is to strengthen the sustainable local food economy.  The Foundation believes that all community residents should have access to a nutritionally adequate diet through a system that maximizes community self-reliance and economic development.

We invite nonprofit organizations with complying projects to submit a proposal to us.  Project(s) will be selected and awardees notified by the end of 2012. Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Anne Kirske, 360.705.3340 or akirske@thecommunityfoundation.com.
