Mason County Leadership Program Application
The Mason County Rural Community Leadership Program training consists of a structured, 48-hour curriculum that emphasizes an interactive and facilitative style, which draws on the knowledge and skills of the participants as well as the curriculum. A typical class consists of 30 to 35 individuals ranging from high school students to retired seniors and with varied leadership experience ranging from emerging to seasoned. Each class selects a project to complete, which provides participants a unique opportunity to apply the skills being taught by the curriculum to a real-life situation.
The Mason County Rural Community Leadership training is made possible by the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound and other funders and is administered and implemented by Rural Development Initiatives. We hope that your interest and involvement will benefit the communities that you serve and live in.
Notice of Participation: Rural Development Initiatives will inform you of your acceptance into the program in late September of 2018.
