Give Local South Puget Sound is an annual online giving campaign that promotes community generosity and supports nonprofits across Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties. During Give Local, everyone who loves the South Puget Sound can give an extra boost to their favorite local causes by donating to one or more participating nonprofits.
Over the years, our communities have raised more than $2 million through Give Local to care for and support local nonprofits. Those nonprofits have used the funds to strengthen our communities by turning them into meals, winter clothes, children’s books, medicine, therapy, shelter, solar panels, forests, farmland, healthy rivers, music, art, and more.
The Community Foundation of South Puget Sound inspires philanthropy and helps donors give back in ways that matter to them. Since its founding in 1989, the Community Foundation has awarded more than $19 million in grants and scholarships in support of communities throughout Thurston, Mason, and Lewis Counties.
We can't wait to celebrate generosity in our local communities again from November 7-18! Registration will open up in July, so be on the lookout for more information soon.
Thank you to our donors, sponsors, and local nonprofits for being part of our annual celebration of local giving. Despite the challenges of 2021, you came together and raised a total of $795,682—the most raised to date!
Your generosity and sense of togetherness helped ensure our communities remain resilient and compassionate. These funds went directly to local nonprofits making life better for people in our communities through meals, winter clothes, medicine, therapy, shelter, solar panels, forests, farmland, healthy rivers, music, art, and more.
Quixote Village was a fully-funded campaign in 2020 Give Local.
