Mason county covid-19 response funds Applications have closed
Community Foundation of South Puget Sound and United Way of Mason County partnered to establish the Mason County COVID-19 Response Fund
The Mason County COVID-19 Response Fund was created to support nonprofit organizations that serve Mason County residents who are being severely affected by the economic impacts of the COVID-19 virus.
United Way of Mason County (UWMC) and the Community Foundation of South Puget Sound established the Mason County COVID-19 Response Fund on March 15, 2020 to help the most disproportionately impacted individuals and families, as well as organizations in our community serving those populations.
Together, UWMC and the Community Foundation gathered data to identify emerging needs, as well as gaps in existing services, and worked to rapidly mobilize and deploy resources to organizations serving those most vulnerable to the economic impacts of COVID-19 in Mason County.
In March of 2021, the final round of funding was disbursed and the Mason County COVID-19 Response Fund was closed.
